The latest (although hopefully not last?) installment of the Wine & Song series is as amazing as the last ones. The guys have grown so much since the first novella, but they still have a lot of work to get through, and it's a pleasure to watch them continue to take steps individually and as a couple towards improvement. We get introduced to more new characters, and I particularly love the dynamic between Ian, David's friend and sometimes-dom, and Grant, another dom in the club that they both frequent. Also appearing on the scene is a new outright antagonist for the reader to hate and root against, and of course more problems for the guys to face together. The incredibly hot and kinky conclusion to the book has me wanting a sequel SO badly, to see what the future holds for David and Jazz as sub and dom!Product details

I love the calmness of the story. It seems that Jazz has become more mature in his own way and is able to take good care of David. David is also slowly having stronger faith in their relationship, which is very sweet. This one is so far my favorite one in this series, can't wait for the next to come out.
Waited for it, read in one sitting, and still can't get enough.
Boom done, boom waiting.
And of course will re-read all.
Eleanor Kos is always a delight to read. David and Jazz are thoughtful, well-rounded characters with decidedly realistic emotions who also have hot but meaningful sex. I recently reread the rest of the series in anticipation of this release and am impressed by how well the world continues to build and expand. I hope we'll see more of these two (and Angie and Kevin as well)!
Eleanor Kos truly has an original talent for dialogue (I had to clutch my pearls at points) and clear, fluid prose. Her characters are vivid and you can't help but root for Jazz and David to succeed. Sometimes their interactions are so intimate it feels like you're peeping in as a reader. Can't recommend this series enough!
David and Jazz are as electric as ever before. Emotions flare in this book as life produces more twists and turns for the couple. Kos's writing gets better and better as the relationship between these two men deepens and strengthens in the adversity they face. They've got a long way to go before they reach a totally happy relationship, but growing pains are the very first step towards that! An excellent addition to the engrossing, sexy Wine & Song series!
Things get REAL when Jazz goes to David's BDSM club. Not only is David having some age-related doubts, but he also fights the fear of losing Jazz to not only Julliard but also LA. Plus, David has to battle his own fear of finally being "owned" by someone he ... loves? I adore this series. Every word, every sentence, every sex scene. Great characters and great chemistry!
With the huge amount of entertainment available for free these days, I don't buy many books outside of my Unlimited subscription. However, I stumbled upon the first book in this series several months ago, quickly purchased the next three, and have been waiting anxiously for the continuation. This installment in Jazz and David's journey didn't disappoint. It was nice to see David opening up a little and sharing more of his life and past with Jazz. The thing I love most about this series (besides the incredibly hot sex) is that they both make mistakes. They get angry at each other and say things they shouldn't, but in the end, they're able to find their way back to each other. Now that I inhaled this one, I'm going back to (not so) patiently waiting for the next!
